The Writer\u2019s, Drama and Debaters Club is a club that was founded by the students of St. Louis Senior High School. This club was founded to help students exhibit their writing, acting and debating skills.<\/p>

The maiden WDDC drama competition that was held in the school on the 27th<\/sup>\u00a0June, 2014 was to help bring the students together and also help them exhibit their talents after a long week of learning.<\/p>

This maiden Annual Inter-House Drama Competition was in a unique style since some special people were invited to judge and award marks. The following were the participating houses.<\/p>

  • Our Lady of Fatima House<\/li>
  • St. Mary\u2019s House<\/li>
  • St. Joseph\u2019s House (Upstairs)<\/li>
  • St. Joseph\u2019s House (Downstairs)<\/li>
  • St. Charles Luanga House<\/li>
  • St. Martins De Porres House<\/li>
  • Mary Joannes House (Upstairs)<\/li>
  • Mary Joannes House (Downstairs)<\/li>
  • St. Scholastica House (Main)<\/li>
  • St. Scholastica House (Annex)<\/li>
  • Brick House<\/li><\/ul>

    The criteria used to judge were<\/p>

    1. Production \u2013 Stage designing, costuming, makeup and overall stage management<\/li>
    2. Direction \u2013 Blocking (i.e. the movement of characters on stage)<\/li>
    3. Acting \u2013 Quality of characterization, vocal skills and movement<\/li>
    4. Innovation \u2013 Creativity and new approach to drama<\/li>
    5. Minus Penalties \u00e0 (after 5 minutes) late arrival<\/li><\/ol>

      We appreciate the help of the Patroness of the WDDC, Mrs Grace Brobbey-Boadu and those who helped to make this programme a success especially our noble Judges; Rev. Fr. Henry Mensah, Mr. Michael Nti-Boakye and Mr. Robert Amuzu.<\/p>
